ID@GT has gained national recognition over the last few years. BusinessWeek rated the ID program within the top ten U.S. programs alongside the MIT’s media lab. Similarly, Design Intelligence ranked design schools within the U.S. and placed the ID undergraduate program within the top three, graduate program within the top ten, and two of the faculty members within top 40. For four consecutive years, undergraduate students have received the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) Merit Award, a prestigious recognition for design excellence.
