"Atlanta & the Games" was born of an agreement between Apple and the IMAGINE (Interactive Media Architecture Group IN Education) group in the College of Architecture at the Georgia Institue of Technology. Apple's initial interest in IMAGINE was focused upon the use of our 3-D model of downtown Atlanta. The model has been a work in progress for almost four years now, and contains the work of too many people to list them all. From the model, we produced the Quick Time Venue Fly-Ins and QTVR's. Apple was also interested in our experimenting with photographed QTVR's. As you can see throughout the site, the guys got really good at QTVR stuff. IMAGINE enlisted the help of School of Industrial Design members to produce the content for "Structures", "Symbols", and parts of "The City". The IMAGINE Group was given a tremendous help in the arrival of four high school students from the Darlington School located in Rome, GA. Their volunteer work on this project was indispensable.
