Omni

Since it was constructed in 1972, the Omni Coliseum has served as the home of the Atlanta Hawks basketball team, the now defunct Atlanta Flames pro hockey team and the Atlanta Knights minor league ice hockey team. Because of its large seating capacity, it can hold 16,400 spectators, the Omni will be an ideal venue. Another reason why the Omni was chosen as a venue is its easy accessibility. Conveniently located in downtown Atlanta, the Omni is in a prime location to host the Olympic Volleyball competition.
